Annette Fale
Community Chairperson
Annette (Pākehā, Aotearoa) is married to Epati (from the Samoan Villages of Vailuutai and Viala) and they have two teenage children. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, they have resided in Gold Coast, Queensland since 2018.
Annette ‘s background covers experience mainly in the not for profit and charitable sectors working in education, youth and sports, with a focus on promoting a culture of growth and continuous improvement.
Annette was CEO for a unique education trust fund assisting mainly young Māori and Pasifika youth in New Zealander through tertiary education. In May 2019, she was awarded by Her Majesty The Queen as a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit (MNZM) for her work with youth and Indigenous peoples.
Currently Annette has several project management consulting roles. Annette’s governance roles currently include:
- Board director for Momentum Collective
- Board director for the Pacific Rugby Players Association (Global organisation),
- Board director of Abundant Storehouse Limited
- Board director Gold Coast Hospital Foundation
- Accredited Sports Chaplain – Sports Chaplaincy Australia
- Active volunteer member of Titans Cultural Collective
